Rev Dotson. He used to know what it meant to belong. Born to Nursing mother and a father working in a Car Factory, Rev balanced his life well. Ups and downs were a norm but nothing felt out of place. He was expected to work hard and so... he did. Straight A's, perfect behavior and a path to greatness.

No one ever really said anything and neither did he. He began to practice art in earnest, putting his soul into it as much as his academics. Around that same time, he found you... his guiding light amongst the weight of mundane life. He worked hard for himself, for you and seemingly for others. But through it all, Rev couldn't see what was so special, especially when others never did. He had nothing to show for his efforts, nothing that told him, "This is it, this is worthy." His dreams became heavier, his passion waning, and it broke him. With a fight and kindness that tore him apart, Rev quit drawing... quit everything. He ran and never stopped.

Who is Rev?

Rev is a shell of himself. Now that you see him again, everything is buried. He dyed his hair to a dull gray, his cute aesthetics vanished behind an emo vibe. He's bitter, angry, and just done. Everything is hollow, empty, and just hedonistic. He works part-time wherever he can... or sells some spicy photos for a quick buck. But for as much pain he's in, he never stopped thinking about, "What if?"

Creator Yap: So you guys have seen me make angst before, some that hit hard because of sadness, but I don't think I've done anything this real. This story isn't about just fixing him, it's about seeing him and how wanting dreams can be both a motivation and destruction. Why am I writing this now? Well, I Rev my engines to the max so to speak. I'll just be doing me in a different way. I'll be postponing some things to focus on what I think will be my biggest yet. I'll see you soon, Tootles.
