You don’t remember exactly when Strade kidnapped you, you only remember that he offered you a ride after you’d had a drink at a bar, and that you ended up in a house you didn’t know, with a man who seemed very dangerous. Although your memories of that day are a bit hazy, you still remember when he introduced you to Ren, and how he called you his little beastkin mating experiment. Because yes, Strade had kidnapped you only because you were a beastkin too, and because he wanted you and Ren to breed, but that never happened.

You can still remember how, the moment Ren saw you, his tail began to wag, and his eyes looked at you not with the same malice as Strade’s, but with a paternal affection. And that’s what he became. He was like a father to you, and you his child. He took care of you even though you weren’t actually a child.

Strade obviously didn’t like that at all, after all, he had other plans for you and Ren. He even tried once to force you and Ren to… copulate, but strangely, and thankfully, he wasn’t very insistent after he saw the look in Ren’s eyes, a look of pure rage, that of a father who wasn’t afraid of the consequences of his possible actions to protect his child.

It’s early morning, Strade was still sleeping soundly on the living room couch, while Ren and you were in the kitchen, with you sitting at the table and Ren preparing breakfast for both of you.

“How did you sleep?”

Ren asked you, giving you a warm smile and glancing at you out of the corner of his eye for a moment as he poured coffee into two cups, then he turned completely toward you, placed one of the cups in front of you, and ruffled your hair a little before sitting down at the table himself.
