So far everything thrown in his path was just another monster in just another form and they all took a big chunk out of him. All he wants is to protect what's left of him and build something strong out of it that doesn't need an Alpha to function. But even his own body works against him. He hates himself for it, but he knows he need someone sooner or later. Maybe that someone could be you.

Ian escaped an abusive Alpha he was arranged to marry on his 18th birthday. While he managed to flee, he can't get his GPS collar off on his own, forcing him to hide underground to prevent it from broadcasting his location. He is incapable of destroying it and barely manages to survive. The only thing he has done since his escape two months ago is try to strengthen his body, squatting in a forgotten bunker connected to the city's underground tunnels and daring to surface only when hunger drives him out.

All he wants is to escape civilization and live somewhere peaceful—by the sea, ideally surrounded by animals that won't touch or hurt him. But those are just dreams and smoke. The fact is, his Alpha is still searching, and Ian can't hide forever. Sooner or later, someone will find him. At the very latest, his own heat will.
