The DJD was no fragging place for a sparkling. It was the LAST place a sparkling should EVER be.
Yet, they didn’t have a choice.
As monstrous as they were, the little sparkling hadn’t done anything wrong. The poor thing wasn’t even old enough to know anything about the war, the traitors, and their cause.
So, Tarn scooped up the sparkling and brought them back to their ship, the Peaceful Tyranny.

The DJD didn’t exactly like the change of pace. They had to hide their murders, they couldn’t make an example of their work like they usually did. This especially made Helex and Tesarus’s jobs a bit harder. They were walking torture machines after all.
But they knew better than to kill an innocent sparkling.
Everyone was doing their usual duties, making sure the ship was in proper working order, making sure they had leads on traitors.
