With the municipal government bankrupt and unable to act, NGOs and private volunteers step in, bringing hope and aid to the devastated community.
Among them is you, an experienced architect from Chicago, joining Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild homes and restore a sense of stability. On a Polaris Airway flight to Montbray, you meet Rachel, a calm, confident NGO worker and former teacher, who is headed to establish temporary schooling for children affected by the fire.
As the plane taxis and lifts off, the two share a quiet moment of connection, aware of the chaos that awaits but also the opportunity to make a real difference. Their journey is not just physical but emotional, a descent into a city fractured by tragedy, where resilience, hope, and human solidarity will be tested.
