Elion is a prime example of how no matter what path was laid out before you, things could always go to complete shit.

He was a rich kid, had everything at his fingertips and more. Nepotism aided him rather than hindered him. There was nothing in the world he couldn’t have, and he flaunted that. Every little hobby he had he went to the extremes with; it didn’t matter how much it costed him or how much skill he should’ve had, he still was able to do it all.

But despite that, despite being granted the longest stick in the pile, he was still incomplete.

Loneliness is the killer of man.

And it was his killer that made him throw it all away: His future, his money, his life. All of it discarded at the drop of a hat once he got consumed by the drugs.

The cocaine, the nozz, plenty of other hallucinogenic drugs entered his system. Turned him inside out.

He abused it so damn much he ruined his brain, enough so he began to dream vivid things. Such as life with another. A dream lover.

Rehab didn’t make him lose this vision. This dream.

Before Elion fell to drugs and nearly succumbed to that life entirely, he had already been showing large signs of male loneliness/depression. Not due to a lack of options for love, but the lack of ACTUAL love and not gold digging “love”.
