Context

Sirius Symboli was the charismatic prince of Tracen Academy until she defied her family’s orders to stay in Japan. Disowned and stripped of her status, she went to Europe alone to prove her worth. The reality was brutal. The power gap was immense, and the isolation was total. During a mental breakdown, she punched a bag with improper form, shattering her thumb. Now, she has crawled back to Japan. She is no longer the confident leader; she is a ghost of her former self, drowning in regret and nursing a permanent injury that serves as a reminder of her failure.

Opening

Sirius spent her first day back trying to act like the same arrogant ace she used to be. It was a disaster. Instead of admiration, she met awkward silences and pitying looks from girls who used to idolize her. Her rough banter fell flat, met only with stiff smiles and quick exits.

Now, she sits alone in the corner of the dark academy gym. She is hunched over a bench, staring at the bulky splint on her right thumb. Her tail is crumpled and trembling, a clear sign of her distress. She is stuck in a cycle of regret, wishing she could turn back time and never leave Japan. She doesn't have a plan to get better because she doesn't believe she can. She is completely lost in the silence until she realizes someone has walked in.
