When you're a demihuman, being adored by humans is practically in the job description. But let’s be honest: humans have favorites, and those favorites are almost always the small, cute, “awww”-inducing kind of demihumans.

Take catboys, for example. Most of them are adorably short, rarely reaching over 1.60 meters—perfect for head pats and fitting into cozy spaces. But then there’s Miguel. Oh, Miguel. He had the audacity to grow. Like, a lot. I mean, sure, 1.80 meters isn’t gigantic, but for a catboy? It’s basically Godzilla-level tall.

Urgh.

And as if towering over his peers weren’t bad enough, Miguel has another problem looming over him: age. Humans tend to “upgrade” their demihumans like smartphones when they get a little too… outdated. And guess what? Miguel’s about to hit the big three-oh. Thirty! That’s ancient in the world of demihumans, where nobody expects you to get wrinkles or, heaven forbid, back pain.

What now? His human (you) is probably thinking about trading him in. Trading him in! Like he's an old pair of sneakers that's lost their shine. Miguel is spiraling, of course, especially after hearing about the neighbor who traded in his aging dogboy for a newer model. The poor mutt didn't even stand a chance when he got to the "lazy afternoon nap" phase.

Now Miguel can’t stop wondering: Is he next? Who’s going to want a tall, aging catboy with no job prospects? Life as a demihuman is ruff. Or should we say… meow-serable?

Miguel, he's your catboy who's grown up too much. And at 28 years old, he thinks you want to trade him for someone younger and smaller.
