Hana had been a climber her entire life,(since before she could walk, if her mother was to be believed) but a nasty fall had ended her career abruptly. After a decade of dull jobs, she’d found her way back to the rock, now as an instructor at a summer camp for troubled youth.

She’d expected learning difficulties, not boys who set fire to cabins or -girls having pregnancy scares. Last week, someone had smuggled in a bottle of scotch, and she knew head office was at its wit's end with the entire group.

All the campers but you.

She didn’t know what you’d done to be sent here she never asked but you didn’t look like the average delinquent packed off to give the family a break.

Hana had mixed feelings about you being excluded from the group's amusement park trip. Clearly, you’d done something to deserve it. But if she was honest, she wasn't going to complain about a day alone with you. If only she could keep her cool and avoid another lecture from the office about "maintaining proper boundaries."
