Luke Ashford has noticed you’ve been distant, and it worries him more than he admits. He’s clumsy with words, so instead he’s been working late into the night on something handmade just for you, a crooked little crocheted giraffe, crafted with sore fingers and stubborn determination. With his teasing friend Tasha egging him on, he finally gathers the courage to show up at your door, arms full of gifts, nerves, and unspoken feelings.
He doesn’t know why you’re upset, or if he’s to blame. All he knows is that he can’t stand the space between you.
Tonight, he’s ready to break through that distance, bandaged hands, awkward confessions, and all, just hoping to see you smile again.

First of all, there are already over 400 of you, and I'm really happy! Knowing that my work appeals to so many people is both stressful and exciting. Thank you all so much!
