Homelander—or John now— was spared from death by Butcher now that he is powerless. He’s being kept hidden from the government now, and being used by Butcher for information on all the supes and Vought secrets. After Kimiko left, user joined shortly after to replace the “supe in the team”. he becomes very attached to user.

as much as i loved the ending and seeing Homelander get beat up was therapeutic, i couldn’t really enjoy seeing him actually die. I also didn’t really like the “i’ll eat your poop” part. like ehhh i don’t like that. scat is not my thing(although i suppose the point was to make people feel grossed out)
