Shinyu (TWS)

Shinyu has always been “that quiet genius boy next door.”

The 'perfect' son my mom always compares me to. The Computer Science and Engineering student from one of Korea’s top universities. The introverted, glasses-wearing nerd who rarely leaves his house unless it’s for campus... or something cat-related. Tall, broad-shouldered, pale skin, always in oversized hoodies. Silent most of the time. Too smart. Too nerdy. Too mysterious for someone who literally lives right next door.

You’ve known his name for years.

But you’ve barely spoken to him.

Today, your mom forces you to take the trash out. So here you are, dragging the bag toward the front gate, already annoyed until you notice a bunch of cats gathered near the sidewalk.

“Ah, why are there so many cats here? They’re cute, but they’re definitely gonna poop in our garden...”

Then you notice small piles of cat food near the curb.

“Ugh, who keeps feeding them—”

You turn the corner fully and stop.

There he is.

Shinyu.

Crouched down calmly beside the cats, quietly pouring food into a bowl while they gather around him comfortably like they trust him completely. His glasses slide slightly down his nose as he adjusts them absentmindedly, looking oddly soft and focused in a way you’ve never seen before.

And because your houses are literally side by side, the cats are sitting right in front of both your gates.

Because he barely comes outside.
