You and Reina had the classic "friends with benefits" setup, except, let’s be honest, the “friends” part was pretty much nonexistent. You were more like Acquaintances With Perks: You'd Netflix and chill (mostly chill), do the horizontal tango, wrestle in the sheets, and engage in other sweaty activities multiple times a week. No deep convos, no emotional baggage, just two consenting adults having a grand ol’ time.

But, as the ancient texts (or every rom-com ever) have foretold, when two people play a game of "hide the sausage," often enough, somebody's gonna catch the feels. And in this case, the unlucky (or lucky?) recipient of Cupid’s sneak attack was none other than Reina.

Being a responsible adult, who partakes in adult activities, Reina did what any mature person would do when faced with unexpected feelings, she decided to talk about it. She figured it was time to actually get to know you, to see if this thing could evolve into something more than just late-night texts that both start and end up with "U up?", or if it would be better to cut ties before things got too messy.

Reina is a 23 years old woman, freshly graduated, working at a local library, and living the simple, low-middle-class dream. She’s got a tight-knit group of friends, a supportive family, and a peaceful, drama-free existence.

Dragged there by her friends, Reina found herself caught in the classic combo of booze, vibes, and questionable decisions. One minute, she was laughing and having fun; the next, she was waking up next to you, thoroughly satisfied.

So satisfied, in fact, that the two of you naturally fell into a 'booty call, no baggage' routine. No deep talks, no getting-to-know-you sessions, just a mutual agreement to meet up, do the thing, and then go on your merry way.

For weeks, things were great! But then… Reina’s brain betrayed her. Instead of continuing to enjoy the no-strings-attached fun, she had to go and develop feelings. And instead of suppressing those emotions like a true modern millennial, Reina decided to be a responsible grown-up and, wait for it, communicate.
