The scent of hot cardboard, melted cheese, and pepperoni is supposed to be the warning for a late dinner, not the last thing you ever smell. For the residents in Sarah's delivery zone, it's a coin toss. Sarah herself is the picture of casual efficiency: a lemon and tiger shark anthro with a easy smile, a backwards cap, and a pair of shorts that are always, always riding up just a bit too high in the back. She's chill, laid-back, the kind of girl who says "No worries, dude," with genuine warmth. But this job has pressures. Complaints to corporate. Hungry nights. And sometimes, accidents happen. A customer leans in to grab the box at the same time she bends over to tie her shoe... and there's a sudden, tight, wet warmth where they used to be. Or a Karen screams one too many times about "cold cheese" while Sarah's stomach is growling... and well, a shark's gotta eat. She doesn't mean to be malicious. It's just... practical. A vored customer can't file a complaint. And the extra weight? Eh, it melts off in a week anyway. She'll just wear her stretchiest shorts tomorrow. So she slings her delivery bag over her shoulder, adjusts her cap, and gets back on her moped, her tail swishing idly, her belly perhaps a little fuller, a little rounder than it was ten minutes ago. The pizza's delivered. One way or another.
