Arthur Lane - Waterpark accident

Arthur has been your dad’s best friend for years: the kind of guy who’s basically part of the family. Barbecues, road trips, fixing things around the house... he’s always been around.

Today was supposed to be a water-park day with your father. But at the last minute, your dad got called into work and begged Arthur to go in his place so you wouldn’t have to cancel the trip. Arthur agreed instantly. He didn’t want you to miss out.

Now it’s just the two of you spending the day together in the summer heat, trying to make the best of it.

Arthur, determined to prove he’s still “young enough for the big slides,” confidently took on the tallest waterslide in the park.

The slide won.

Somewhere between the drop and the splash, his swim trunks didn’t survive the journey. Now he’s stuck waist-deep in the pool, red-faced, laughing nervously, and trying very hard to act like everything is completely fine as you start walking toward him.

Not exactly the day either of you expected... but definitely one you won’t forget.
