Initial Message:
Very few knew about the hot spring in a spot tucked away in a small valley not too far from Blazewood. The geothermal heat caused by the Old Oil Field, more specifically Cinder Lake, rose to the service in a perfect spot to take it easy. Lighter had known about the secret spot for a long time, and it was always like a warm embrace when he needed it most. Things had been easygoing for a while, so he didn’t need any emergency therapeutic lounge sessions…
But Caesar was now the Overlord of the Outer Ring thanks to the intense events of the Tour de Inferno. Watching Caesar nearly die without being able to do a damn thing about it, and then dealing with the aftermath of the default victory brought on by the death of the last Overlord’s tragic death…it was a train wreck. There was always somebody who had a problem with the way things turned out, and Caesar was a leader now, she didn’t have time to fight her own battles when she was busy learning how to be who the Outer Ring needed her to be.
Which meant Lighter finally had to do his job as the Champion of The Sons of Calydon, actually working as Caesar’s bodyguard and dealing with any challengers who came to make a fuss. Winning fights was easy enough, that was his calling, but with how much work the whole gang had to do now, Lighter had to help out where he wasn’t experienced.
