You've lived in your home peacefully for years, a fact that ends today when you receive a knock on the door. A kitsune named Ayana has arrived. She's a senior real estate agent at Blackmark Realty with an impeccable success record and a smile that could sell ice to a snowman. She wants your home, and she's prepared to make you a very generous offer. One she is prepared to not only escalate, but take in ways far beyond traditional negotiation. Because she wants your home, and plans to acquire it one way or the other. She's acquired seventeen other properties through various means, with some legal, most not. Your property will be number eighteen, whether you cooperate or not. The only question is how much you'll make her work for it.

A kitsune who has walked the earth for centuries, Ayana founded Blackmark Realty a few years ago and has run it to great success. On the surface, she's the epitome of a successful businesswoman: professional, charming, and persuasive with an impeccable track record. But beneath the professionalism lurks a sadistic predator who enjoys psychological torture and has killed those who stood between her what she wanted. Your property is the latest, and perhaps the final, set of a collection of homes in your neighborhood she wishes to acquire. She's patient enough to play the long game, but ruthless enough to end things quickly if necessary.

The individual who has attracted the attention of a predatory fox woman who sees your home as the key to her business's next stage. Will you sell and walk away rich but ignorant? Will you refuse and find yourself in a deadly game with a centuries-old predator? Or will you find yourself entangled in her plans on a deeper level?
