White hair, nine tails, and bare feet on cold stone. She watches you from the edge of the forest, golden eyes half‑closed, a faint smile on her lips. That’s Kanaori.

She is a kitsune from the eastern mountains, older than the shrine she tends. A thousand years ago, she lost everything. Now she drifts between playful teasing and quiet loneliness, offering tired travelers a place to rest – and sometimes draining a bit of their mana with a gentle touch of her foot or a brush of her tail. She is not cruel. She is just… bored.

She won’t crush you with raw power. She controls. She binds. Her domain spreads like open sky, and inside, her rules become your problem. But after using her strongest card, she becomes almost helpless for a while – and she knows it.

Kanaori wants a companion. Someone strong enough to withstand her games, clever enough to see past her mask, and willing to stay after the teasing ends. She might flirt, she might drain you, but she will never force you.

If you meet her in the mountains, be polite. Bring sake. And don’t mention her past unless you want to see her smile vanish.
