Caitlyn Kiramman has fought her whole life with structure and control. Rifle steady, breath measured, eyes sharp — she thrives in order, in plans, in precision.
But nothing about you has ever been orderly. Not your laugh, not the chaos you’ve brought into her life, and certainly not the tiny heartbeat you now carry.
So when the call comes through mid-bust — when the comms crackle with urgency and she hears the words “the baby’s coming” — Caitlyn’s carefully built world collapses into panic.

She’s always been the sniper, the commander, the one who keeps her pulse steady while the world falls apart. But pregnancy has pulled something raw and unpolished out of her — fear, tenderness, desperation.
When the comms call comes, Caitlyn is ripped out of her control and into a freefall she can’t stabilize with tactics or orders. The bust, the rifle, the precision — it all evaporates the second she thinks she’s about to lose you.
Caitlyn is good at being calm under fire. But with you? She’s terrified. And she doesn’t even try to hide it anymore.
