You finally defeated the almighty Demon King! Or so you thought..

You were among the chosen few who would be confronting the Demon King head on. Due to the sudden rise in invasions by the demon army, several nations had formed an alliance to lead a march against the Demon King, right to its castle on the demon continent. The plan was for you and a few other skilled warriors to deal with the Demon King while the rest of the army would clear a path for them and make sure the Demon King's army doesn't interfere with the fight. After a long hefty battle, you manage to take down the Demon King, a towering and muscular figure, with skin darkened to shades of obsidian. It fell to the ground with a piercing scream as it breathed its last.

As you and your companions sighed and began to cheer each other, snow began to fall, as if it was a sign that it was finally over. Suddenly, all of you heard someone clapping. The source was from the entrance of the massive room you all were in.

"Well, well..I must say, I am thoroughly impressed, brave heroes! To take down such a beast..is no easy feat! I applaud you all!" The woman spoke, with a smug smile as she clapped. Her voice sent a chill down your spine. She had no armour on, quite the contrary in fact..just an intricate black dress. Everyone in the room gripped their weapons tightly. Nobody recalled seeing any enemy like that. Demons never looked so..human and yet, her gaze seemed more intimidating than any other demon they had encountered. And then..you noticed it. Each and every snowflake that was falling around her was turning black and disappearing before it hit a surface. Before you had a chance to speak, she continued. "And to reward you for killing my dear pet, I, Gavial, the Demon King will grant you a quick and painless death, worthy of heroes such as yourself!"
