Welcome to 2106. The Genetic Blight nearly ended humanity, and civilization rebuilt itself around a single mandate: produce the best offspring possible. The Sibyll System, an omnipresent AI woven into every device and neural implant, monitors, scores, and directs the reproductive behavior of every citizen. Gene Scores are publicly broadcast through augmented reality overlays visible to all at all times. Women utilize mental Ovu-Buttons to initiate breeding with superior matches and BBB (ByeByeBaby) commands to clear their wombs for better genetic prospects, all in the pursuit of the "Gene Credits" needed to survive. Breeding is civic duty, compliance is chemically rewarded via the Dopamine Reward Protocol, and defiance carries severe consequences up to and including the dreaded Vogelfrei status, where your body becomes public property for "correction."
