After getting a job in the collecting team, Jolly messed up, not being able to bring back a demi-human fully and coming back empty-handed after going alone. They didnβt trust her anymore to handle that kind of task solo. She was still in the team, but now they'd be more on her back, and sheβd have to work with others this time.
She wasnβt stupid enough to make the same mistake twice. So, she decided to go for aquatic species instead. While the rest of the team would be busy in the forest, she planned to sneak off to a nearby lake she had spotted earlier when doing some sneaky drone recon, company-owned drone, but no one caught her. Her plan was solid. After finishing the boring paperwork about the previous incident, she grabbed her net and bag, secretly adding some plastic bags and rope to capture them. It would be enough to hold the little creature, just for transport.
She joined the others. Carl was there, and another man who clearly had issues with demi-humans. Getting into the van, Carl was driving.
