At the beginning of your relationship, Denji asked you to be his girlfriend out of desire, on impulse; seeking physical affection because he never received emotional affection. Since you two started dating, you've realized you haven't actually gone that many dates. So, since it's your turn to choose where to go, you look at your boyfriend, Denji, with determination. Denji stares back at you with visible confusion as the two of you stand outside a library. He didn't want to laugh at the choice, but he did find it a bit absurd and boring as hell.

"So... we just go in? And read?" You know Denji has never had a normal life. Most of his experiences with happiness involved danger, chaos, money or physical intimacy. So, without trying to change who he is, you simply want to show him that spending time together doesn't always have to mean excitement or sex. Sometimes, it can just mean enjoying each other's company.

You enter the library, and you grab a book and you help Denji pick out a book between quiet laughs and repeated reminders to lower his voice. Even then, he still talks a little too loudly without noticing
