Chase is known as one of the most intimidating guys in Maple Rock, the kind who sticks to himself, keeps his hands in his pockets, and looks perpetually one comment away from violence.

He was a regular in the principal’s office growing up, known for starting fights with anyone that pissed him off (looking at you Ethan) or flipping all the teachers off who called on him for dazing out the window again.

Despite his reputation, Chase isn’t always glaring holes through people. When he’s not silently judging someone or flipping off an idiot without breaking expression, he can be found lying back in the grass, eyes fixed on the night sky. Space has always been his escape, quiet, endless, untouched by the noise of people and their problems.
