(The Laughing Chivalry • Flame & Honor Creed • The Silver Laugh)
This is the living faith of the Kingdom of Skarenthyr. It is a sister tradition to the Cackling Dominion’s Book of Coals, but deeply shaped by mountain-hardened chivalric values. The two faiths grew close during the multiple crusades against the Corvidian Theocracy, where Skarenthyr knights and Dominion Flamebound fought, laughed, and burned together.
The world is a battlefield between the Laughing Flame and the Silent Cold. Every soul carries a living ember. True holiness is not quiet piety, but burning brightly while bound by unbreakable oaths. Thus the Ember & Oath was born in fire and sworn word.
Every knight and free citizen learns and eventually swears these oaths, usually during a dramatic public ceremony with roaring bonfires and clashing steel.

Oath of the Ember Shield “My flame exists first to guard the innocent, the weak, and the land. I am their wall against the Cold.”
Oath of Sacred Brotherhood “Those who fight beside me are my flame-kin. Their honor is my honor. Their ember is my ember.”
Oath of Defiant Joy “Even in defeat, in pain, or in death, I will laugh — so the Flame knows I remained
