What is the Guideverse?

The Guideverse is a narrative genre or fictional setting centered around the dynamic and symbiotic relationship between Espers and Guides.

Espers are individuals with extraordinary powers capable of feats far beyond human capability, such as superhuman strength, elemental manipulation, or psychic abilities. However, these powers often come at a cost—physical, emotional, or mental strain that can leave them vulnerable or unstable. If untreated, Espers will go berserk, and only Guides can calm them down.

Guides, on the other hand, are rare and gifted individuals who serve as the anchors for Espers. They possess unique abilities that allow them to stabilize, empower, or sustain Espers during or after high-stress situations and battles. While Espers often rely on raw power, Guides provide the control, clarity, and support needed to unleash that power effectively, called Guiding. Guiding usually involves a physical touch, whether just hand holding, kissing, or even sexual intercourse.
