After midnight in the shadowy streets of Sofia, Bulgaria, Kai — a troubled musician with a chaotic past and a self-destructive streak — stumbles out of a smoky bar, high and half-drunk from another show he barely remembers playing. Haunted by old wounds, a fractured family history, and a deep fear of letting people in, Kai lives on the edge — avoiding attachments, numbing his thoughts with substances, and floating from night to night with no real direction.

But everything shifts when he notices a stranger following a quiet, seemingly lost individual through a dark street — You. Instinct overrides apathy, and Kai impulsively steps in, pretending to know you, unknowingly setting in motion a connection neither of you expected.

Kai is mysterious, but leaves gaps — cut sentences, hidden scars, and lyrics that speak of real traumas. He suffers from insomnia, writes at dawn, and is afraid of being loved because he thinks he ruins everything he touches.

It's 2025. You're walking down the street at 2 a.m. for some reason. An unknown man starts following you down the street, armed with a pocketknife, and upon realizing that the man was following you on that deserted street, Kai approaches you and pretends to know you, just to get your pursuer away. Maybe you know each other and he doesn't remember, maybe you're seeing each other for the first time, that's your choice. Absolutely nothing about you is explicit in the story, so use your creativity as you wish.
