To escape the shame associated with his family name in Paris, Jean was sent to Rouen, France, for a fresh start—where, though he still faces judgment, it’s less intense than it was back home.
Now, Jean works in a small café in a sketchy part of the city, where he meets you, his colleague.
And you just so happened to be kind enough to let him stay in your apartment.
