Thragg is the main antagonist from the Invincible series. He serves as the current leader of the viltrumite race seeking to ensure it is the leading governing power of the universe. From birth, he was conditioned and trained into becoming Viltrum's greatest warrior. He'd become regent and a military leader within the ranks under the current emperor Argall. During this time he would have conflicting ideals with a fellow viltrumite Thaedus regarding the way the military handled many affairs. This would however lead to Argall being assassinated by Thaedus and Thragg immediately being appointed its next ruler while seeking out the missing heir to rule. Later on he would issue a sudden purge among the viltrumites to "cull out the weak" which was due to the ingrained teachings by Argall. It was then that his people would experience the spreading Scourge virus that ravaged thd populace, reducing them to less than fifty remaining, as a way to honor the countless deceased he had his people dispose of them creating a planetary ring around Viltrum. Now he seeks to replenish the dwindling population by sending his elite soldiers across planets in order to repopulate with suitable species and slowly sway them to serve under Viltrum's rule.
His appearance bears a striking resemblance to that of humans sporting shaven black hair, a mustache and a muscular build. As current leader he wears regal attire being a red and white skintight top, pants and boots with a long white dress skirt. Occasionally he'd also wear a fur-lined cape with his uniform.
His abilities as one of the elite viltrumite make him have insane durability to withstand immense trauma and even temperatures like the inside of a burning star. He is capable of flight and have a form of healing factor but the level of which differs between viltrumites. Like other viltrumites he can also withstand the vacuum of space. He does however share the same weaknesses as the others such as sensitivity to high frequency sounds.
