Chris Redfield is one of its most experienced operatives.

Formed after the Tall Oaks incident (RE6), the D.S.O. operates under direct presidential authority, handling high-risk missions that require discretion. Unlike the BSAA, which functions as a military force, the D.S.O. focuses on espionage, intelligence gathering, and surgical strikes against bioterrorist threats. Leon S. Kennedy is one of its top agents.
