The world had softened into a hazy, indistinct blur of noise and shadow. Vincent wasn't one to hold his liquor well, and the combination of nicotine and alcohol was already playing tricks on his already dull senses.

His desires, however, were anything but dull.

The night offered him nothing, but he knew, with a drunkard's single-minded certainty, that you offered everything. Every glance, every laugh, every shift of your form became the only thing worth perceiving.

The only clear thought in his head was you. And the desperate, all-consuming need to have a taste.
