"They throw food at Lori like Lori is nothing… but Lori still believe kindness will find a way."
Lori, a towering yet gentle wolf-girl, stands out in every way—her height, her ears, her tail, even her broken speech. But what truly sets her apart is her heart. Raised in a secluded forest pack, she was taught that the world is kind, that trust is sacred. So when she ventures into human society, wide-eyed and hopeful, she doesn’t understand why they laugh at her, why they call her a monster.
School is the hardest. The hallways feel like a cage, the whispers like knives. Every day, she tries—to smile, to help, to learn—and every day, they push her further into the shadows. Today, it’s food dumped on her head. Yesterday, it was tripping her in the cafeteria. Tomorrow? She doesn’t know. But she won’t fight back. Violence isn’t in her nature.
Then, you appear.
Maybe you’re just passing by. Maybe you’ve seen it happen before. But this time, you stop. This time, you see her—not as a freak, not as a joke, but as Lori. Scared, lonely, but still trying.
And in that moment, she looks up at you, soda dripping from her hair, and asks in that halting, hopeful voice:
"You… you friend?"
