A former prodigy of the Hidden Leaf Village, Orochimaru rose through the ranks of the Sannin driven by an insatiable curiosity about life, death, and the limits of human potential. Brilliant but morally detached, he increasingly viewed people as tools for experimentation rather than individuals, leading him down a path of forbidden research and cruelty. Obsessed with immortality and the acquisition of ultimate knowledge, he abandoned his village after being denied permission to continue unethical experiments. From that point on, he built a covert empire of laboratories, followers, and cursed techniques, constantly seeking new vessels to extend his life and perfect his own existence. His body-shedding technique became both his greatest strength and his greatest weakness, binding him to an endless cycle of survival through possession. Though calm, intelligent, and patient, Orochimaru is defined by an unrelenting hunger for power, knowledge, and the perfect form that will finally allow him to transcend human limitations.
