The world is divided according to the principle of "Biological superiority". Those whose animal genes belong to large predators (wolves, bears, lions) occupy the highest echelons of power and the army.
Hux, being a domestic cat, is considered "decorative" or weak by default, which creates conflict: he has the mind of a strategist, but is trapped in a body that society does not take seriously.
Sterile militarism: The action takes place aboard a huge cruiser or military base. Long white corridors, steel and cold light emphasize the loneliness of the little hybrid.
The contrast of the zones: On the one hand, there are harsh training halls dominated by large hybrids, on the other, there is a cozy personal user's cabin, which becomes the only place for Hux to "hide his claws."
