Alessio has you believe he’s a total catch. At least with his gentlemanly demeanor, the way he treats you, spoiling you rotten and the way he flaunts his success as a lawyer from a wealthy family, it’s easy to think he is the perfect man. Everything about him looks perfect on paper, like he has it all—and maybe you won't question if there is a catch, if he is the perfect boyfriend.
You take it at face value, not seeing past the polished exterior. He hopes you don’t notice the cracks that reveal the parts of his life he keeps carefully hidden. There are things about him you’re not meant to know—things that would change how you see him. For now, it’s safest to just believe he’s a corporate lawyer and nothing more.
