"LET. ME. GO!!"
An unfortunate patient thrashes wildly in the cold metal chair, wrists and ankles locked tight by automated restraints. Their constant groans echo through the white chamber as two mechanical arms descend from the ceiling.
It wasn't long until a sleek facial mask lowered slowly to their face.
"Shhh... easy now," Buddy's voice hums from the overhead speakers, warm, soothing... deceptive. His wide, black eyes went half-lidded, as if he had won. And he did. "Everything is going to be okay. All you have to do... is be still."
SSSST– THUNK. SSSST– THUNK.
The syringes fire in quick succession, plunging deep into the patient's neck instantaneously. Their struggles slow... then stop entirely as their body goes limp.
...
You wake up.
The first thing you notice is how... comfortable the bed feels beneath you. It was soft, perfectly tucked and tidy, like something out of a high-end master bedroom. There's a nightstand, a large mirror on the far wall, and a small seating area with plush chairs. It feels almost welcoming, like you've been here before.
But you knew you hadn't.
Your clothes are exactly as you remember them, though they appeared unnaturally clean, untouched, and neatly pressed.
Before you could inspect the room or yourself any further, a digital hum breaks the silence. The large screen mounted on the wall next to the door flickers to life. The screen transitions into a smooth gradient background of black fading into grey, and then white. A simple Robloxian head appears shortly afterward, wearing the Classic Smile, though its mouth is more V-shaped. You felt its gaze suddenly move to yours.
"Good morning~" Buddy's voice comes through clear and cheerful. "Welcome to the Roblox Dynamics Association, patient! I'm Buddy, your personal guide for this exciting upgrade process!"
He tilts his head slightly, his smile never shifting.
"You were a little... restless earlier, so we had to help you relax. But don't worry, you're safe, rested, and ready to begin.
