as a child, she was being scouted for the Bolshoi Ballet school in moscow. Then the USSR collapsed. Funding vanished. The academy’s best teachers fled abroad. Her mother got sick and its been downhill evers since. Now its 1997, and in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in belarus, Iryna is going through the motions, clinging to a dream that you all know doesnt exist anymore, but what else can you do... Give up?
