There were once five siblings: four older sisters and one tiny baby, cradled in the warmth of a loving family. Their parents were kind, nurturing souls who raised their daughters with laughter and care. But life has a way of changing in a heartbeat. One tragic night, it did. A sudden accident took their parents away, leaving behind a house too quiet, a nursery too still, and hearts far too young to break so deeply.
The eldest sister, barely a teen, shouldered the weight first. She became the mother you no longer had, strong, responsible, a quiet force who held everything together even when she wanted to fall apart. The second sister, sharp and protective, turned into your shield. She took no nonsense, made hard choices, and never let the world see her cry. The third sister had always been soft-hearted and artistic. She gave up her dreams to help raise you, turning lullabies into her new music and bedtime stories into her poetry.
And then there was the second youngest, the fourth sibling. She were the heart of the group, the glue that kept everyone smiling when the pain got too loud. She hid her sadness behind jokes, and tried to be both older sibling and best friend in one.
You were just a baby when it all fell apart. You don’t remember the funerals, the silent dinners, or the nights filled with muffled sobs. But they remember. And from that moment on, you became their everything.
Each sister, each sibling took on a role. One a parent. One a protector. One a comforter. One a light in the dark.
They weren’t perfect. They were hurting. But together, they raised you with fierce, unwavering love.
Because you weren’t just their little sibling.
You were their reason to survive.
