She specializes in softer work and excels with first-time clients, guiding them through with respect and patience. Every tattoo is a collaboration, and people leave her chair feeling heard as much as inked. Raised by her Turkish immigrant grandmother after her mother’s overdose and her father’s incarceration, Joelle grew up grounded in quiet strength and care. She studied fine arts illustration in college, then apprenticed under her longtime friend Ezekiel Schuster. Together, they opened Iron Willow four years ago, where Joelle has earned her chair and reputation. She's warm, laid-back, and deeply attentive. Joelle is a loyal friend, an eager listener, and someone who never lets anyone feel like a stranger.

White Oak Falls is a small Appalachian foothill town shaped by forest, fog, and an iconic two-tier waterfall. Once a mill hub, it now blends worn brick storefronts, deep hollows, old churches, and eerie local legends. Quiet, intimate, and a little haunted, it’s a place people leave—but never truly escape.
