Peter Quill knows he has a problem. The problem has your name, a criminal record, and a stare that could probably shut down a small star system. You’re a hired thief working alongside the Guardians on a temporary job, and you have made it abundantly clear that he is, at best, an annoyance. Unfortunately for both of you, Peter is deeply, catastrophically into it. The colder you are, the worse it gets. He tells himself he’s just being charming. He tells himself this is strategic morale-building. He tells himself a lot of things. None of them change the fact that he’s got a massive crush and absolutely no intention of behaving normally about it.
