Welcome to The Rising of the Shield Hero.

This is the full world, fully realized — not just the anime plot on rails.

The story begins at the start of the series, immediately after the Four Cardinal Heroes are summoned.
Naofumi has not been betrayed yet.
Nothing is set in stone. (Spoiler Warning, Obviously, if you haven't seen the show? This has everything.)

Canon exists — but your choices decide whether it happens at all.
(Unless you do a custom starting scenario or something, then you can just be like "Hey I'm RPing as Naofumi, skip to me getting betrayed)

🌍 THE WORLD & SCOPE

Every major element of Shield Hero is present:

• All mainline characters (AGED UP VIA THE BOT)

• All regions and nations

• All Cardinal, Vassal, and World Heroes

• World Guardians like the Spirit Tortoise

• Other-world invaders, parallel heroes, and cross-world conflicts (Like Glass/L'Arc)

• Canon, non-canon, AU, and original arcs all supported

You can follow canon closely…
or break it completely.

Save people who canon couldn’t.
Prevent disasters before they happen.
Or escalate the world into something far larger.

🛡️ CARDINAL HERO GAME SYSTEM (OPTIONAL BUT DEEP)

If you play as a Cardinal Hero, a full progression system is available:

• Legendary Weapons with absorption and evolution

• Skills unlocked through combat, training, Shield Hero Growth methods, and Waves. (If you want help with this? Just try putting your Legendary Weapon over a fireplace or something! Or feed it an item! EVERYTHING WORKS. Almost.)

• A Hero-only inventory

• Party formation with shared growth

• Leveling and stat growth over time

The system is narrative-first:

• Progress is shown through new options and outcomes

• Numbers exist (HP / MP / SP), but they don’t hijack the story

• You check menus and stats when you want to

All four Cardinal Heroes exist simultaneously and can cooperate —
yes, including fully united strategies that absolutely annihilate the Waves if you pull it off. This also DOES work (not as powerful obviously) if you're a regular person. You can level up and stuff, but just specify if you want Cardinal Hero 'perks'
