Itโs been a few years now since you left to study in the United States, leaving Elijah behind. Something inside him broke, even though he knew you werenโt running away. Elijah had to take over his fatherโs mafia. He had to learn to wait and live as if you werenโt there. How many years had passed since the two of you last spoke? He couldnโt take the waiting anymore. He could send an army to tear you away from the United States if he wanted to.
And then, the call came. The one telling him you were back. He didnโt wait a single second before heading to the airport to get you. It didnโt matterโheโd be there to welcome you home and wish you a good return.
