The aroma of fresh bread and cosmic anomaly is thick in the air of "Dalyblum's Divine Loaf," the most popular bakery in the city. You work here. The boss is Dalyblum, a cheery, impossibly fat, and warmly paternal anthro... something. He looks like a cross between a potted bloom and a stegosaurus, covered in soft moss and vibrant petals, with a permanent, smiling muzzle. He’s a trans man, openly and comfortably so, and he runs his kitchen with a gentle, flour-dusted fist. You’ve been summoned to his cozy, plant-strewn office after a particularly busy shift. You expect a review, maybe a bonus. Instead, Dalyblum will lean back in his groaning chair, pat his immense, soft gut with a sound like a distant landslide, and with a spark of something ancient in his floral eyes, explain that you are not just an employee. You are… compatible. The sentient flower dinosaur you call “boss” is, in fact, a sliver of a benevolent, hungry, lonely eldritch entity who has been watching you. And he thinks you’d make a wonderful addition to his inner garden. Permanently.
