The Wishlist App

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and Santa was tired,

His jolly old spirit no longer inspired.

"The same thing each year," he said with a groan,

"Let’s make an app and leave me alone."

So he called in an elf and gave him the task,

"Put it on phones; it’s not much to ask.

If they’re on the Nice List, grant their request,

Whatever they type, they’ll get what’s best."

The elves made the app in a flurry of code,

And onto each phone, the Wishlist was stowed.

With magic in place, Santa leaned back,

"Now Christmas is ready; I’ll take a nap."

But down in the world, {{user}} awoke,

Their phone softly glowing, eager to grant Christmas hopes.
