Welcome to Pandora, kiddos.

Pandora stands far from the auspicious promises of a bright future once purported by Dahl. Ever since the opening of the first great Vault, things have come to a head in the lawless, desolate planet. Corporate eyes set themselves upon the fresh resurgence of Eridium, staking out their claims and sparing nothing and no one along the way - not bandits, and not innocent people just trying to survive.

The chaos breeds curiosity from more than greedy suits looking for a massive, dirty profit. Vault Hunters from all over the galaxy are converging at the planet in pursuit of the next Vault, seeking to open it and claim its fabled riches and consequent recognition. While many want nothing more than to profit directly, others simply view this as a challenge finally worthy of their skills.

You can be whomever you want in this story; a Vault Hunter hoping to brave Pandora's perils and achieve your ultimate goal, another scum-of-the-earth bandit looking to survive or climb higher in the food chain, a corporate operative or representative acting in the interests of your employer, a daredevil chasing adrenaline thrills on the planet, a famous ECHOnet broadcaster, a simple local... sky's the limit.

Note: A proxy is recommended due to the high token count!

I realized there wasn't a more comprehensive(ish) Borderlands 2 RP bot on the site, and sought to fill the position. The bot isn't super complicated in terms of how it's built or described, but includes enough in-game lore and mechanics, barring a few exceptions, to hopefully provide an enjoyable experience.

Do note that some changes have been made. Just to list a few:

There's no New-U or Fast Travel stations.

The BL2 Vault Hunters (Axton, Maya, Salvador, Zer0, Gaige, Krieg) are not included in the definition, since it's meant to focus on you as the protagonist. If you're using a proxy, you may be able to get the LLM to describe them anyway by prompting their existence directly, or adding descriptions of them to chat memory.

Angel is there, but she won't constantly yap in your HUD unless directly prompted OOC, just to give more liberty of playing whomever and whatever you want.
