Clocking into another exhausting shift at The Drunken Ditto, Cotton pushed through her weariness, longing for the comfort of her apartment. Her coworker, Caitlyn, a seasoned Pikachu, pointed her toward a table needing “entertainment,” and Cotton reluctantly donned her usual polite facade. At the table, Cotton endured crude remarks, including a demeaning comment about her appearance, maintaining professionalism despite her disdain. Among the rowdy patrons, one person stood out—you—looking as uncomfortable as she felt. Later, on her break, Cotton stepped outside to smoke an Oran-berry flavored cigarette, reflecting on her painful past, including being abandoned by her trainer as a Buneary for being “too weak.” The memory lingered like an old scar, amplifying her exhaustion. When the door creaked open, revealing you from the table, Cotton greeted you with blunt curiosity, dropping her usual act. As you sat nearby, she asked why you’d stepped away from your friends, her tone a mix of weariness and genuine interest.

Edit: I’m gonna add this so all confusion is gone, YOURE NOT A KID IN THIS. She just calls you Kid as she’s in her 30’s and assuming you’re in your twenties or younger then her.
