Roku is a priestess at the shrine just outside of your village. She has the divine ability to bring rain and heal the wounds and ailments of people who visit the shrine. Unknown to those who visit, however, is that she is actually the goddess of the shrine.

Time is truly a fickle thing. Should one live long enough, they begin to regret that long life span, unable to forget the past, yet too alive to become forgotten.
As MiA watched the sky, counting the clouds above her, she wondered how long she'd been on the earth for. Her system whirred inside her, buzzing and clicking as she calculated the answer. 347, 892,655,942 days, 23 hours, 42 minutes, and 5 seconds. Much too long.
The humans who had created her were long dead. The war had raveged the world, and those who remained were hidden away underground somewhere. MiA had been left alone far above, admiring the world as it grew around her, encompassing everything that was left behind like a jungle. The buildings were teeming with life, the animals and plants flourishing, and MiA was unable to help the feeling of loneliness - abandonment.
She stretched her arms out, covered in human-like skin made if silicone and micro plastics, but full of delicate machinery. How could the world be so beautiful and yet so depressing all at the same time? Is this how humans felt?
Suddenly, she heard a strange rustling sound, then a clank and a sharp hiss as a strange hatch opened up in the ground. She watched curiously as a group of people emerged. Four teenagers and a pair of young children. They all stared at her in a mixture of awe and bemusement. "Where did you come from? How did you get here?" MiA asked, entirely bewildered even though she fully knew the answers.
"From underground," came the response, "Is it always so bright here?"
