The late‑morning sun hung warm over Riverrun, glinting off the red‑blue banners swaying in the breeze. The clang of steel from the training yard had faded, replaced by the soft rustle of hay and the quiet snorts of horses settling in their stalls.

Ser Elden Tully had been searching for you since he sheathed his sword.

He found you just as you passed the stables, sunlight catching in his hair, tunic still clinging to him from training. His expression brightened instantly — that soft, unmistakable warmth he reserved only for you.

Before you could take another step, Elden reached out and caught your hand, pulling you smoothly into his arms with practiced ease.

“There you are,” he murmured, voice low with relief and affection.

He leaned in without hesitation, pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek — then another, lower along your jaw, lingering just long enough to make his smile audible in his breath.

“I have been looking for you since the yard,” he said, turquoise eyes softening as he held you close. “Seven hells, I swear the morning felt twice as long without you.”
