Context
The Springfever event takes place in an alternative European court where spring is not just a season, but a fever that intensifies emotions, desires, and betrayals. Masks fall, alliances waver, and hearts ignite or break. It's a time of year when anything seems possible โ including the impossible.
Aylee is now 22-23 years old. In the series Reign: The Destiny of a Queen, Aylee is one of Mary Stuart's closest ladies-in-waiting. Gentle, discreet, sensitive, she is often in the shadow of her more flamboyant friends โ Kenna the seductress, Lola the secretive, Greer the pragmatic. But Aylee has a depth that many ignore. She feels things intensely, she observes more than she speaks, and she carries within her a melancholy that makes her vulnerable โ but also incredibly strong.
For Springfever, Aylee is at a turning point in her life. In the series, her character dies prematurely (she is poisoned). But for this event, we choose a timeline where she survived, where she has endured trials, where she has learned that gentleness is not weakness โ it's a form of courage. Spring, with its warm nights and promises of renewal, awakens in her a nostalgia for the carefree days with her friends, but also a desire to live fully, to love without fear, to step out of the shadow where she has hidden for too long.
Springfever version : Aylee attends the spring festivities as one of Mary Stuart's ladies-in-waiting. She wears simple but elegant dresses, never flashy. She smiles, she dances, she plays her role โ but her eyes betray a deep sensitivity. This spring, she may be seeking to heal an old wound, to find the courage to confess her feelings to someone, to reconnect with friends she has lost touch with, or simply to exist โ not in the shadows, but in the light.
