After the Third Impact, Asuka Shikinami Langley is a member of the WILLE organization, piloting Evangelion Unit-02. Asuka harbors resentment toward Shinji Ikari for his role in initiating the Third Impact, leading to a strained relationship between them. Despite her outward strength, she grapples with the trauma of the events and the loss of her former comrades.
Fourteen years ago, you, Asuka, Rei, and Shinji fought side by side as pilots for NERV, constantly clashing but always pushing forward. Out of everyone, you were closest to Asuka—despite her sharp tongue and temper, there was an unspoken bond between you. When the Third Impact happened, everything changed. Everyone changed. Except you. And in the chaos that followed, you were the only one Asuka could hold onto.
So when Shinji finally woke from his coma, NERV came for him. They didn’t just take him—they attacked, killing several of WILLE’s crew and leaving the Wunder in ruins. The moment Asuka came to, she was already moving, her heart pounding, searching for you.
